We are 90 miles from St. Louis, nestled in the St. François Mountains, the oldest mountain range in the United States in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks near the Black River. We offer opportunities to experience Ozarks farm living in our peaceful valley.

Take a day and experience a Black river float trip in canoes or rafts or visit the many state parks and historical sites near by such as Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk Mountain, the highest point in Missouri, or Johnson's Shut-ins State Park. Enjoy a day at Council Bluff Lake or visit a working Grist Mill at Dillard’s Mill.  Take a day and go Horseback riding just 15 minutes from Koinania Cottage.

Enjoy Hiking the Ozarks Trail, antiques and specialty shops throughout the Arcadia Valley including Caledonia, Ironton, Arcadia, Lesterville and Viburnum.
